B-INTERNATIONAL training for staff on external funding

As part of the ongoing B-International project, a series of training sessions have been designed to empower LUMS staff with the knowledge and tools to seek and secure external funding. The OIA hosted its fourth training session on the topic “External Funding”.

The training took place over two days, on 24th and 25th October. The primary focus of this online training was to enhance the knowledge of staff in the domain of external funding. This training initiative was a collaborative endeavor, jointly undertaken by four prestigious partners within the B-International consortium in Pakistan: NUST, COMSATS, LUMS, and PIFD. The comprehensive training program was thoughtfully divided into four distinct segments, spanning over two days, with each of the Pakistani partners taking the lead in one of these segments. It's worth noting that Dr. Furrukh Khan, an associate professor from MGSHSS, conducted a session on the fundamentals of grant proposal writing. To ensure maximum participation, the training adopted a hybrid format, with sessions held at the Centers of Internationalization in all four partner institutions in Pakistan.
