Eligibility Criteria
Students must have proficiency in English. Student must have successfully completed at least one year of education with good academic standing within a relevant field of study at their home institution.

The LUMS campus itself is a testament to the university's commitment to providing an excellent learning environment. I found myself drawn to LUMS sports complex and the inviting swimming pool, that became a part of my daily routine. They not only offered a space for physical wellness but also became a hub for socializing and unwinding after intense study sessions. Academically, LUMS exceeded my expectations. The professors at LUMS are a cornerstone of the institution's excellence. Each faculty member brings a wealth of knowledge, both academic and practical, to their teaching. This appealing academic environment fostered a drive to excel, an aspect I will carry with me in my future endeavors. Further, I was amazed by the myriad of active student societies and their enthusiasm for enriching life on campus. A highlight for me was the opportunity to collaborate with the LUMS Radio Society, where we recorded a podcast. This experience was not only fun but also a great learning opportunity.

Leaving my university back in Turkey was quite intimidating because I didn’t know if I would fit in LUMS or enjoy it, but I blended in really well. The beautiful campus and amazing people made it hard to miss my home. What I loved most about LUMS was, there was always something happening- whether it be students sitting at the khoka (an open-air tea and discussion spot) casually, or upbeat music events. I enjoyed my time at LUMS so much that I decided to go for another semester here. There were two main reasons for my extension: the first being the amazing social and campus life- from facilities such as the pool and gym, to the fun hostel life. The second was the educational structure of the classes. The classes at LUMS are very discussion based and I wanted to be a part of that for more than just a semester. The projects are dynamic and practical and it genuinely feels likes in learning real skills.
LUMS definitely met my expectations; I definitely will recommend my friends from Koc and other universities to come for exchange and enjoy the diversity at LUMS!

I had a really good time there. I found the professors friendly and helpful. Academically, LUMS was an exceptional university with many interesting courses and a lot of worth seeing events. The level of classroom instructions and environment were suitable for me. LUMS has a really nice, calm and green campus, the buildings fit very well to their facilities and the classrooms are well equipped. LUMS provided me adequate opportunities for excursion and socialization. Most of the students are very friendly and hospitable, they offer their help whenever they can, and it is really easy to socialize on campus. With uber/Careem we were very flexible wherever we plan to go out and we saw a lot of the sights in Lahore and also different areas of the country. Through LUMS we also found the travel agency, with whom we went to the northern areas Gilgit and Hunza. I didn’t experience a culture shock on my exchange. LUMS is a very soft-landing place for international students in Pakistan. Based on my exchange experience, I will strongly recommend LUMS to fellows from my home university to have an exciting exchange experience at LUMS.
