The event was a brief overview of the MEXT scholarship program that is fully funded by the Japanese government.
The speaker is a current MEXT scholarship holder and presented his personal experience of the scholarship application process. Overall, he introduced the goal of the scholarship, its requirements for applicants from Pakistan, its funding options, the application process and timeline. Moreover, the speaker compared his experience of studying in Pakistan, the USA and Japan. In addition, Mr. Shah discussed Japan as a destination for higher education.
A Q&A session followed the initial presentation.
