Meet & Greet with International Students at LUMS

OIA

The Office of International Affairs (OIA) at LUMS recently hosted a heartwarming Meet & Greet event, bringing together international students and student society presidents to foster cultural exchange and inclusivity on campus. The gathering served as an opportunity for students from diverse backgrounds to share their experiences, learn from one another, and build lasting connections.

This semester, LUMS welcomed students from Sri Lanka, Albania, China, and Louisiana (USA), each bringing a unique perspective and rich cultural heritage. The event allowed them to interact with society presidents, opening doors for meaningful discussions about their time at LUMS, life in Pakistan, and the vibrant student community.
The event concluded with a thoughtful gesture from the LUMS Religious Society, as they presented gifts to the international students as a token of appreciation and a warm welcome to the LUMS family.

The Meet & Greet was not just about introductions—it was about bridging cultures, embracing diversity, and creating a sense of belonging for students from different corners of the world. As LUMS continues to grow as a global institution, such initiatives play a crucial role in enriching the student experience and fostering an environment of mutual respect and understanding.
