LUMS Strengthens Outreach in Doha, Qatar: Engaging with Prospective Students

OIA

The Office of International Affairs (OIA), in collaboration with the Office of Advancement, recently conducted a successful outreach initiative in Doha, Qatar. Ayesha Fatima, Head of Marketing, Office of Advancement, and Zainab Masood, representing the OIA, engaged with students and school leadership across four esteemed institutions: Pakistan International School Qatar, Pak Shama School, Bright Future School, and The Next Generation School.

During the sessions, we had the privilege of meeting with school principals and management teams, followed by in-depth interactions with approximately 150 students at each school. The sessions featured a comprehensive 1.5-hour presentation detailing LUMS’ academic programs, vibrant campus life, student experiences, and the university’s commitment to fostering an inclusive and dynamic learning environment. The outreach also covered the admission criteria, key deadlines, and scholarship opportunities, ensuring that students received crucial insights into applying to LUMS.

The enthusiasm and engagement from students were remarkable, with vibrant Q&A sessions following each presentation. Their keen interest in LUMS’ academic rigor, faculty expertise, and diverse student community highlighted the growing appeal of the university among international applicants.

As LUMS continues to expand its global footprint, initiatives like these play a vital role in connecting with high-achieving students from around the world, reinforcing our commitment to excellence in education and fostering international collaboration. We look forward to welcoming more talented students from Qatar to our ever-growing LUMS family!
