B-International WP 2: LUMS Staff Trained on Academic Recognition
The journey of B international WP training continued with its third training session hosted by the OIA. This training was focused on employee recognition and all four participants (LUMS, NUST, PIFD, and COMSATS) were present for the online training each university had a representative who conducted a session online.
The training took place over two days, on September 20th and 21st. This online training primarily focused on enhancing staff knowledge in the area of academic recognition. The training was a collaborative effort, jointly conducted by four esteemed B-International consortium partners in Pakistan: NUST, COMSATS, LUMS, and PIFD. This comprehensive training program was thoughtfully organized into four distinct segments, spanning across the course of two days, with each of the Pakistani partners assuming leadership for one segment. Notably, Ms. Ayesha Zia from the Registrar's office led a session on credit recognition. In order to maximize participation, the training adopted a hybrid format, with sessions hosted at the Centers of Internationalization in all four Pakistani partner institutions.
The OIA places a strong emphasis on enhancing the skills and knowledge of LUMS staff. We aim to create more relevant and valuable training opportunities for all staff members by integrating the valuable lessons from both the initial and subsequent training sessions.
