Celebrating Diversity

In a bid to embrace and celebrate the rich tapestry of diversity on campus, the OIA hosted a memorable Meet and Greet on September 15, 2023, for our international students. This vibrant gathering was a delightful introduction to life at LUMS, made even more special by the participation of fourteen LUMS Society presidents.

The essence of the event was to acquaint our international students with the numerous societies that make our campus culture so dynamic. The Society presidents played a pivotal role in this, warmly welcoming the newcomers and presenting the diverse range of societies available for them to join.

The LUMS Music Society took the stage and gave a melodious surprise performance that added an extra layer of magic to the event.

The Adventure Society's announcement of upcoming trips to the majestic northern regions of Pakistan was nothing short of exhilarating news. These expeditions promise not just adventure but also the chance to immerse in the natural beauty of the country.

Various other societies, including Toastmasters, Religious, Riayat, and many more, showcased a plethora of opportunities for students to ensure their time at LUMS is truly unforgettable.

The Office of International Affairs is committed to providing a safe and inclusive space for all students. This Meet and Greet was a testament to that commitment, reinforcing the idea that every international student's experience at LUMS is meant to be wholesome and enriching.
