B-International WP 2: LUMS Staff Trained on International Partnerships:

LUMS

On the 18th and 19th of July 2023, the Office of International Affairs conducted its second training session for LUMS Staff, focusing on International Partnerships. The training was co-delivered by four B-International consortium partners in Pakistan - NUST, COMSATS, LUMS and PIFD.

The training was thoughtfully structured into four distinct blocks, spanned across two days, with each Pakistani partner taking the lead on one block. This approach facilitated a diverse range of perspectives and experiences shared among participants from all four universities, fostering a collaborative and interactive learning environment. The training sessions covered important topics such as establishing new partnerships, writing partnership agreements, successful implementation, and efficient management of these partnerships. To ensure broader participation, the training adopted a hybrid format, with sessions held at the Centres of Internationalisation at all four Pakistani partner institutions. Additionally, our esteemed partners from Cardiff Metropolitan University and the University of Bologna joined us virtually, enriching the overall learning experience.

The OIA places great importance on the capacity building of staff members across LUMS. By incorporating the valuable insights gained from both the first and second training sessions, we strive to design increasingly pertinent and beneficial training opportunities for all staff members.
