B-International Consortium Meeting
The 5th Consortium meeting of the B-International Project took place from 20th June until 22nd June 2023 at École Centrale De Nantes. As the project enters its final six months, the meetings were marked by productive discussions and sessions to ensure the successful launch of the B-International Toolkit and training sessions. The primary objective is to equip university staff in Pakistan with a comprehensive framework, knowledge, and practical tools to effectively implement and advance internationalization.
The first day of the meeting comprised a series of sessions providing updates on each work package being undertaken by the partner universities in Pakistan. Topics discussed included the functioning of the centers and the progress of university staff training, among others. On the second day, the focus shifted to the implementation of the toolkit in Pakistan, scheduled for November, when the B-International consortium will be visiting the country. Additionally, a networking session was held, bringing together representatives from various universities in Nantes.
The third and final day of the meeting involved presenting an update to the project management board on the project's achievements so far. Subsequently, a meeting was held to discuss the future of the project, specifically concerning the second phase for the proposed B-International project 2.0.
With this project nearing its conclusion, LUMS continues to exhibit unwavering commitment to implementing the necessary systems, capacity, and capabilities essential for the transformation of its campus into an international space.
